Ramadan, always a time that brings families, friends and communities together; especially at Iftar time.

Members of VELIA arrived at ‘Le Lunch’ restaurant close to the Iftar time where they greeted each other and socialized. The atmosphere during Ramadan is always noticeably more jovial, vibrant and positive when it starts getting close to the Iftar.

Lavish Lebanese home cooked food provided by members were displayed on the buffet table. Fresh juices and refreshing popular Ramadan drinks were on standby for the guests to break their fast with.

Fatoush salads and Lebanese soups are always the most preferred choice to start the Iftar amongst many Lebanese around the globe. It was no surprise to see this popular choice happening at this Iftar dinner.

Once people had broken their fast, they continued to enjoy the tremendous selection of Lebanese cuisine.
